ISACA Cybersecurity Scholarships Open Worldwide Until November 3

Cybersecurity students worldwide can apply for the ISACA Foundation’s current scholarship cycle through November 3, 2026. The program offers academic awards ranging from US$500 to US$5,000, with eligibility and funding varying by scholarship. Two worldwide options include a Cybersecurity Month award and a broader Digital Trust award.

Two Awards Open to Students Worldwide

The ISACA Cybersecurity Month Scholarship will award US$2,500 each to five students pursuing, or planning to pursue, a cybersecurity degree or advanced degree.

The Digital Trust Scholarship will support 14 students with US$1,000–US$2,500 each, based on need, merit and average tuition in the student’s country. Eligible fields include cybersecurity, IT audit, risk, governance and assurance.

Both awards are scheduled for distribution between January and February 2027, for education-related expenses at the school the recipient will attend in 2027. Funds go directly to the school for students attending U.S. institutions, and directly to students attending international institutions.

Who This Is For

These two awards are aimed at students building relevant academic qualifications. Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be enrolled in, or accepted to, an accredited college, university or technical training institute.
  • Meet the chosen award’s degree and subject requirements.
  • Provide a recommendation from an educator or professional who knows their work.

Recipients also commit to attending at least one ISACA event in 2027 and providing school and career updates twice yearly for two years. Students still exploring their direction can use our cybersecurity career path map to compare roles and the skills they involve.

How to Apply

Applications close at 11:59 p.m. U.S. Central Time on November 3, 2026. ISACA’s scholarship FAQ says applications are free and late submissions are not accepted. Create a free ISACA account, review the individual award page and prepare the requested supporting documents. Recommendation letters are due on the same date.

Applicants may submit separate applications for multiple scholarships. The program also includes regional awards with school or location restrictions, so check each listing’s current status. Academic funding is intended for formal education; the FAQ states that the Foundation does not offer scholarships for certification fees.
